QA Engineer Intern
If quality is never just quality to you, because you love pushing the limits of what's technically possible, then we'd love to talk to you! We're looking for a talented, like-minded person to join us and learn how to shape the future of different projects.
You probably don't know how we work or why we feel the QA team at CreITive is an awesome place to learn and possibly work, though! That's why we would love to help you understand who we are and what we need.
To start off, we want to touch on a few different popular questions.
What does the CreITive QA team do?
The short answer is “a bunch of things”. We have manual testers which create and execute test cases manually. We have test engineers that build automation frameworks.
What does a regular day in the office look like?
Our general day to day activities will depend on the project we're working on. You will need to analyse the complete project documentation, attend team meetings, and plan further steps of testing together with the rest of the team. You will learn to communicate with developers, designers and project managers, and to understand what they need in order to complete a project with the highest level of quality. Also, you will need to hunt down any covert bugs, and make a report. Yay, reports!
What helps with the role?
You have some kind of technical background, because you will need to learn the process very fast. The business requirements of the project are geeky and you need to fully understand it in order to verify the quality of it.
You know how web and mobile applications work and you have a “feeling” about how to use them and cause issues - in fact, you love breaking stuff.
You are familiar with some programming language, because at some point you will learn automation testing with Selenium web driver. If you already know something about it, it would be a big plus.
You have a sharp eye for all things which do not belong in determined “places”. Your sharp eye is also what makes you focus on improvements, because as a QA engineer you play the role of an application or website user, and you will be able to assess what needs to be improved. Everything is in the service of good quality. It sounds like a cliché, but you will adopt it as a mind-set.
You are motivated, independent, responsible or more precisely said - "you get it done". Your communication skills and point of view are equally important because as we mentioned before, you will need to communicate with a lot of people here.
Above everything, you are a team player and ready to help out your colleagues, be kind and compromise with all the other teams inside of CreITive.
What are we offering?
In the first place, we are offering you a possibility to grow as a person. Why? Because once when you become part of our team, you will face different kinds of situations, which will help you understand what you really want and what you really can. (Note: You can do everything!) We are trying to build healthy human relations among us, and that is a priority.
In the second place, comes everything else. You will work on exciting projects, in a modern, but warm and cozy work environment, with a beautiful garden where you can sit with your colleagues either to work or to relax, eat fresh fruits or have a nice cup of coffee. Table football, table tennis, darts, Nintendo Wii, lazy bags - all of this is available here to you when you want to just chill out. We're pet-friendly, so with your furry (or non-furry?) friend by your side, we can say that you will always feel like you are at home.
If this sounds interesting to you, and you can imagine yourself as part of our team, upload your CV via the button above this text, or just send us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Be sure that we'll get in touch as soon as we receive it!
